Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Effective Date: 1st March 2026
Thank you for choosing Tamworth Reiki for your energy healing and holistic wellness services. This Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy is designed to respect the time, energy, and preparation involved in providing personalized wellness sessions while remaining fair and transparent for clients.
1. Appointment Booking
Appointments may be scheduled online, by email, by phone, or through approved booking platforms. By booking a session with Tamworth Reiki, you agree to this Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy.
2. Cancellation Notice
Clients may cancel or reschedule appointments by providing at least 24 hoursโ notice before the scheduled appointment time.
Cancellations made within the required notice period may:
- Receive a full refund; or
- Apply the payment as credit toward a future appointment.
3. Late Cancellations
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hoursโ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 100% of the session fee.
This fee helps compensate for reserved appointment time and preparation that cannot typically be filled on short notice.
4. No-Show Policy
Clients who fail to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice (โno-showsโ) may be charged the full session fee.
Repeated no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings at the discretion of Tamworth Reiki.
5. Late Arrivals
If you arrive late to your session:
- Your session may be shortened to avoid impacting other scheduled clients; and
- The full session fee may still apply.
If you are more than 15 minutes late, the appointment may be treated as a no-show.
6. Practitioner Cancellations
In the rare event that Tamworth Reiki must cancel or reschedule an appointment due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, clients will be offered:
- A rescheduled appointment; or
- A full refund of any prepaid fees.
7. Refund Policy
Refunds are generally only provided in accordance with this policy or where required under applicable consumer protection laws.
Completed services, workshops, classes, digital products, downloadable materials, gift certificates, or packages may be non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any consumer rights you may have under applicable law.
8. Packages & Memberships
If you purchase a multi-session package, membership, or wellness plan:
- Unused sessions may expire after 12 months unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Missed appointments may still count toward package usage.
- Refund requests for partially used packages may be assessed on a prorated basis.
9. Online & Remote Sessions
For virtual or distance healing sessions:
- Clients are responsible for ensuring they have a stable internet or phone connection.
- Technical issues caused by the client may not qualify for refunds.
- If technical issues occur on the practitionerโs side, reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule the session.
10. Wellness Disclaimer
Energy healing, holistic wellness, and related services are intended to support relaxation, personal wellbeing, and spiritual or emotional balance. Services provided by Tamworth Reiki are not medical, psychological, or psychiatric treatment and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Clients should consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding any medical or mental health concerns.
11. Consumer Rights
This policy is intended to comply with applicable consumer protection laws, including rights relating to refunds, cancellations, and fair contract terms. If local law provides additional rights to consumers, those rights will apply.
